Welcome to Growing in Education! I'm so glad we found each other. I am an educator, curriculum designer and developer, educational consultant, lead learner, and most recently a blogger. Education is my calling, career, passion, and obsession.

I have served as an elementary teacher, a kindergarten through fifth grade STEM teacher, a district-level instructional coach, and an elementary assistant principal, and a regional ELA school improvement and instructional technology specialist in North Georgia. I currently serve as the Director of Professional Learning in North Georgia and serve as a part-time faculty member in the Elementary and Early Childhood department at Kennesaw State University. I hold two masters degrees in curriculum and instruction and educational leadership. I hold an education specialist degree and am currently working on my doctorate.

It is my dream to support other educators in growing their efficacy while igniting (and re-igniting) a passion for teaching and learning. I believe it is my purpose to empower other educators in their journey to making teaching and learning engaging, motivating, and blissful.
